While the wheel may be slow to turn, it is, in fact, turning in a positive direction for the lads in The Ghost Inside.
Last week, drummer Andrew Tkaczyk practiced on his new custom kit, and continues to show both resolve and improvement in his recovery for a leg amputation. Similarly, guitarist Zach Johnson recently appeared on The Jasta Show stating, "Everything’s slowly getting better. I remember when I was in the hospital at one point I couldn’t move either of my legs, so it’s wild to think how quick of a comeback all of that is."
Now, vocalist Jonathan Vigil has shared another update, observing he has been cleared of his bone infection.
"It's been a long (and sometimes very frustrating) eight weeks but this is my last dose of antibiotics. The blood work says that the bone infection has cleared and it's time for the next chapter. I get my picc line out today and I see the doctor on Tuesday about my last remaining surgeries. It's been nearly six months since the accident and ALL of us still have a long way to go. But through the support of fans, friends and family were getting closer to the light at the end of the tunnel. You'll see us again on stage sometime, I promise you that," Vigil said.
