And the winner is...
The Chats have been named the winners of the annual Triffid Queensland Album Of The Year.
The Sunshine Coast group released their debut album, High Risk Behaviour, in March this year and has now earned a place on the venue's famous band wall next to the likes of The Go-Betweens, The Saints, Violent Soho and more.
Six albums were nominated in the public-voted event this year, including Bugs' Self Help, Thelma Plum's Better In Blak, Hollow Caves' Moments, WAAX's Big Grief and Jeremy Neale's We Were Trying To Make It Out.
The winner was announced at The Triffid's sixth-anniversary party last night.
