It's an awesome week for the Melbourne party animals

More The Bennies The Bennies

Rambunctious party-punk quartet The Bennies have stormed into the Carlton Dry Independent Music Charts top five with new album Wisdom Machine, while Sia claims a single and album #1 double.

The fun-loving Melburnians have taken out the #4 spot and are currently touring their third LP around the south and east coasts of Australia.

It was also a good week for Planetshakers, who came in at #2 with Momentum (Live In Manila). Country star Col Finley made it a trio of top-10 debuts with his new album Before The Storm, claiming #9.

Sia continues her chart dominance by scoring the top spot with This Is Acting with a two-spot jump behind it, and also #5 with 1000 Forms Of Fear. The Cat Empire rounded out the top five with Rising With The Sun (#3).

Hein Cooper's The Art Of Escape, Ziggy Alberts' Land & Sea and Methyl Ethel's On Human Spectacle all re-entered this week's album chart at #15, #18 and #20, respectively.

Aside from her reigning #1 single Cheap Thrills, Sia also has no less than five other releases in the top 20, with Alive (#5), Chandelier (#6), Elastic Heart (#9) and re-entries Bird Set Free (#14) and Big Girls Cry (#17).

Flume's Never Be Like You (feat. Kai) retains the #2 position, while The Rubens' hit Hoops (#3) and Joel Adams' Please Don't Go (#4) finish off the top five.

There have also been chart re-entries for Meg Mac (Roll Up Your Sleeves, #19) and Vance Joy (Georgia, #20).
