TEG Appoints Industry Veteran As New Ticketek General Manager

Local giants TEG have today announced the appointment of Glen Rainsbury as the new General Manager of Ticketek - Australia and New Zealand. 

Based in Melbourne, Rainsbury has worked in ticketing, venues and promotion over the last two decades and has held senior positions that include Event Manager at Brisbane Entertainment Centre and The Gabba and Director of Venue Sales at Marvel Stadium (formerly Etihad Stadium).

Rainsbury has also previously worked with both Live Nation and Frontier Touring.

“Glen’s CV gives him a 360-degree view of the live entertainment sector," Managing Director - Ticketing and Chief Commercial Officer, Cameron Hoy said.

"It makes him a great fit for this new role, which is key to Ticketek’s strategy to ensure we continue to lead the industry with an enhanced operated model as our industry emerges from COVID-19."

Meanwhile, Lee Jones will take on the newly-created role of Director – Ticketing Solutions. Both Jones and Rainsbury will report to Hoy.
