The veteran tune-smith has five shows lined up next month
Lauded electronic pioneer Oliver Huntemann has spent the better part of the past three decades at the cutting edge of the techno movement (which, despite the word's fall from grace of late, is very much alive), and now he's bringing those finely honed skills Down Under for a run of shows around the country next month.
Kicking off at Cloudland, in Brisbane, on Friday 20 November, the revered producer will hit up Victoria's Strawberry Fields festival on 21 November and Perth's Garden Party on 22 November, taking a break to get back to Sydney in time to perform at Max Watt's House Of Music on Saturday 28 November before wrapping up the following evening, 29 November, at Revolver's Summer Series in Melbourne.
Huntemann has been kept busy the past year or so with his freshly minted label Ideal Senso, the culmination of years of work on other labels such as Ideal Audio and Confused Recordings, not to mention a host of others, but he still knows how to kill it in the flesh as a performer so be sure to suss some tickets if you're in the mood for a show from someone who knows how to party, and party well.
Tickets for Oliver Huntemann's forthcoming Australian shows are available now via Novel; see theGuide or check The Music App for more information.
