The Foo Fighter drummer joins this week's episode of The Green Room podcast!

Rumours of a new Foo Fighters album in 2020 have been circulating in recent times and drummer Taylor Hawkins has confirmed a new record is in the "planning stages".

Joining this week's episode of The Green Room with Neil Griffiths podcast to promote the new Taylor Hawkins & the Coattail Riders album, Get The Money, the Texas-born artist discussed a new Fooeys album is in the works but a release date is still far off.

"It's still far off from [a release date]," Hawkins told host Neil Griffiths.

"We're just, sort of, in the planning stages. I can't really divulge too much 'cause I don't really know too much, 'cause they don't really tell me that much. I've got the biggest mouth in the band!"

The rumoured album, a follow-up to 2017's Concrete & Gold, would coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Foo Fighters. Though he couldn't give specific details about what's in store for 2020, Hawkins teased that the band will be very much active.
