PITP announces triple j unearthed winner Carl Renshaw, art program and nudest dude competition.
Party in The Paddock, teaming up with triple j Unearthed, have announced that Tasmania's own Carl Renshaw has been chosen from a heap of submissions to take to the stage at the festival this February.
Renshaw joins Aussie acts including Sticky Fingers, Hermitude, The Smith Street Band, Montaigne and Tash Sultana on the impressive line-up.
Party In The Paddock, located 25 minutes outside Launceston CBD, will be showcasing some of the best local art this year with the Party in The Paddock Art Program. There'll be something for everyone at the festival, with 'The Alter', a speaking platform with a variety of guest speakers including comedians, slam poets and politicians, an adult jumping castle, a skate park, a late night disco and a boutique.
There is also the inclusion of the annual Nudest Dude competition, with the successful winner receiving VIP treatment. To enter, you'll need to do your best impression of the bloke baring it all in the festival's poster and upload that business to the Facebook event page.
Party In The Paddock is set to deliver some of the best home-grown talent again for the festival's fifth year running from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 February; see theGuide for further details.
