Perth band set to reach top five tomorrow
Tame Impala are set to debut at four on the ARIA Albums Chart tomorrow with their new album Lonerism.
Released last week, the Perth psych-rock band's second album has received universal acclaim from Australian media and international outlets such as The Guardian, NME and Pitchfork.
Their debut album InnerSpeaker also peaked at four in 2010.
The position will make them the top Australian act in the charts, only behind the current international juggernauts. Honourary Australian Pink looks set to stay top of the chat with The Truth About Love, the American pop star added extra shows to her already mammoth 2013 Australian tour this week.
