Tame Impala
Perth wunderkids – well, mainly brains of the operation Kevin Parker – seem to have overcome the second album syndrome with the release of Lonerism last week. Returning to Meredith after an 11am set in 2008, they psych-rock revivalists have become a major drawcard for any festival in the world.
Itch-E And Scratch-E
One of Australia's most pioneering dance acts, anyone who's caught them in the last couple of years in their 'comeback' will attest that they can still drop it like it's pre-internet. A favourite of both newcomers and the guys who were there the first time around.
If you didn't get tickets to Meredith, the next chance for some Supernatural Amphitheatre grooves is the Golden Plains festival, which was recently announced.
