Lonerism starts its worldwide charge
Perth's Tame Impala have become the latest Australian act to make an impact on the UK albums chart, with new album Lonerism debuting at 14 this week. The band's album debuted at four locally.
There's also been success for INXS, whose The Very Best is up to 79 this week given the strong profiling of Never Tear Us Apart on a TV ad campaign. The single itself is up to 93 on the singles chart.
Sia remains the constant though, with She Wolf (Falling To Piece) – a track with David Guetta – at 11 this week. The same combination is celebrating 48 weeks in the charts with Titanium, which is at 56 this week.
There's a similar story for Sia in the US charts, with Titanium at 33 after 26 weeks in the Billboard Hot 100. She Wolf (Falling To Pieces) is up to 18 on the Dance/Club Play ranks.
