Philosopher, School Of Life co-founder and bestselling author Alain De Botton is returning to the Sydney Opera House to deconstruct 'love' and explore what it means to live happily ever after on 9 July.

The philosopher, who has previously held two sell-out talks at the Opera House, will discuss how modern relationships are shaped by romantic misconceptions and myths. De Botton's extensive catalogue includes has covered travel, architecture and literature through How Proust Can Change Your Life, The Art Of Travel, Status Anxiety and his most recent novel The Course Of Love - which marks the author's first fictional work since Essays In Love nearly a quarter of a century ago.
