‘Supergroup’ Still To Be Added To Soundwave Line-Up

One more surprise...

If you thought that yesterday’s Soundwave line-up additions were the last we’d hear from the event before it’s held, then they’ve got something up their sleeve for you.

The long held rumour that the festival will host a new supergroup is set to come to fruition, with promoter AJ Maddah tweeting that he still has “one more surprise” for fans.

“A brand new supergroup so secret squirrel – am not allowed to announce them in advance,” he wrote.

Yesterday’s announcement saw the addition of The Smashing Pumpkins, which are something of a supergroup themselves with their current line-up, while Killer Be Killed – who appeared on the second announcement – feature members of The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Mars Volta, Mastodon and Sepultura/Soulfly. You need to know them.
