Outdoor Sustainable Concert Series SummerSalt To Return In 2022

29 September 2021 | 2:15 pm | Staff Writer

"This festival event is set to be a glorious day out with live music."

National music festival SummerSalt has confirmed their return to regularly scheduled programming next year, confirming the 2022 iteration of the event has been locked in.

The open-air concert series managed to sneak in a few shows earlier this year, before the mass lockdowns put festivals in general on hold.

"SummerSalt is a culturally rich and sustainable festival experience that can be enjoyed by everyone," organisers explained. "This summer will see a celebration of home-grown artists, culture, food, and entertainment in a family-friendly environment at iconic beachside or waterside locations.

"This festival event is set to be a glorious day out with live music and a vibrant, friendly setting perfect for basking in the sun while kicking back or dancing the day & night away to some of Australia’s best live music."

The event has garnered plenty of critical acclaim and drawn huge crowds over the years, hosting massive names such as John Butler, Missy Higgins, Gretta Ray, Boy & Bear, Montaigne, Angus & Julia Stone and stacks more.

The first lineup for SummerSalt 2022 is expected to arrive next week, 05 October. Keep an eye out at The Music for more info.
