Steve Price Told To Remove Hunters & Collectors' 'Holy Grail' From His Radio Show

Following THAT Q&A last week.

Just over a week after his controversial appearance on ABC's Q&A, it has been revealed journalist Steve Price has been told by Aussie rockers Hunters & Collectors to cease using their iconic track Holy Grail on his 2GB radio show.

Though Price has used the song on his program for many years on his program Macquarie Media's chief operating officer, Adam Lang confirmed to Sydney Morning Herald that the band had made contact with the station.

"They acknowledged they didn't have the right to, but asked would [Steve] remove the song from the show," Lang said.

"He was not forced to do that. Steve really likes the band and he respected their wishes."

Lang added that Hunters & Collectors did not give a specific reason for the request.

Comments made by Price last week on the panel discussion TV show were heavily criticised after he called writer Van Badham "hysterical" regarding a conversation about domestic violence.

Hunters & Collectors have declined to comment on the matter.
