Spotify Expands Into Asia In Latest Roll-Out

Service enters eight new markets

The world's most recognisable music streaming service Spotify has launched into emerging Asian markets Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore today in its latest global roll out.

The service also made its first entry into Latin America with a launch in Mexico and they expanded their European base with Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Iceland launches.

The eight new markets brings the service's total to 28. It launched in Australia May last year. They're currently boasting 24 million active users worldwide with 6 million of them paying subscribers.
