In excellent news for festivalgoers, Spilt Milk organisers have confirmed the travelling event’s return for 2025, also revealing the dates and venues for this year’s edition.
Today’s news follows a hiatus from the festival, which didn’t go ahead last year.
In an Instagram post, organisers wrote to fans last July: “Sorry pookies, we couldn’t get you the Spilt Milk you deserve this year 🥲 Sooo imma dip for a bit and come back when I can make all ur dreams come true,” teasing that the festival would return this year.
Spilt Milk will begin its highly anticipated return at Victoria Park, Ballarat, on Saturday, 6 December, followed by Perth’s Claremont Showground on Sunday, 7 December, Canberra’s Exhibition Park on Saturday, 13 December, and wrap up at the Gold Coast Sports Precinct on Sunday, 14 December.
The line-up announcement is set to arrive soon, and organisers tease that tickets are expected to move fast. In recent Instagram posts, Spilt Milk has teased Sombr and Nessa Barrett as potential artists you could see on this year’s bill.
You can sign up for line-up and pre-sale information on the Spilt Milk website.

Spilt Milk, now a multi-city event, started in Canberra in 2016. It expanded to the Gold Coast and Ballarat in 2019 and then Perth in 2023.
Previous Spilt Milk line-ups boasted international and homegrown talent, including Post Malone, Dom Dolla, Lorde, Flume, Khalid, Lime Cordiale, FISHER, Peach PRC, Latto, and Steve Lacy, to name a few, with “all signs pointing” to another killer line-up in 2025.
