Like many returning to the office this week, Spacey Jane have also sprung back into action with a teaser for an upcoming single.
Following up several teaser snippets of a film clip over the past week, the Boorloo four-piece have today dropped another cryptic post urging fans to comment or DM for an exclusive DISCO link to their upcoming track All The Noise.
After following a direct message breadcrumb trail, All The Noise can be heard to feature less of Spacey’s well-known reverb and more sharp drums with a Strokes-esque guitar sound, along with lead singer Caleb Harper alluding to the title with lyrics “it’s all just f*cking noise”.

The band have been posting snippets of a film clip for their latest work since the New Year clocked over, introducing a darker era of Spacey with VHS gas station grunge and guitar smashing to boot.
Following the success of 2020’s Sunlight debut and sophomore album Here Comes Everybody, Spacey were fan-favourites on the festival circuit alongside royalty status on Triple J. Recovering from airwave oversaturation and creative burnout, the four-piece released a single originally meant for Here Comes Everybody, with One Bad Day premiering in January 2024. Since then the band have kept quiet, and have alluded that 2024 was a year for the recording studio.
Speaking with WA publication The West, Harper admitted “We’re really close with new music, we are about to start releasing it in like three weeks”.
“Sonically it feels a lot different for us, there are a lot more layers. To me it feels bigger in a sense, or almost poppier or something like that,” Harper added, speaking to the change of style in the ‘ITMS’ teaser single and further work to come.
“We are pretty hungry to grow and evolve and it’s not as if we’re trying to sound a certain way, we just want to make music that excites us and we don’t want to stay the same at all.”
Like the start of 2025, Spacey Jane ended 2024 on a highnote as frontman Caleb Harper bowled the first ball on behalf of the Perth Scorchers on the Boxing Day Big Bash League. The Sorchers would go on to win by 33 runs.
