Aussie trio Sons Of The East will return home for an expansive celebratory tour in 2024 after selling out shows in New York, London, Los Angeles, Paris and Barcelona.
The homecoming tour is a 30-date run across regional and central cities, starting in February and expanding into April 2024. Presented by Double J, Sons Of The East’s upcoming tour also includes stops at Port Fairy and Dreamfields music festivals.
Starting the tour in Queensland, the trio then head to New South Wales, the ACT, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, and Western Australia, and end the run back where they started: up in sunny Queensland.
The mailing list and Spotify pre-sales began yesterday at 4 pm AEDT, while the general public on-sale starts on Friday, 10 November, at 10 am AEDT via the band’s website. Special guest performers will be announced soon – check out all the dates below.
In September, Sons Of The East hit one of their most significant career milestones to date when actor Bill Murray lent his support via a social media video message.
In an Instagram reel, the Ghostbusters actor said, “Hello, I’m Bill Murray. Thank you for your attention. Now, if you would please direct it to the music of Sons Of The East. Thank you.”

When asked how the video with Bill Murray came about, Sons Of The East manager Bryon Jones stated to The Music, “He’s a genuine fan. He came to a tiny show in North Carolina last year and said hi to the band, and they hung out. Then he turned up to the sold-out Boston show last week and asked for some guitar tips from Jack, so he got them in exchange for the video!”
Sons Of The East released their debut album, Palomar Parade, in September 2022.
