Just a few days ago Ash Hudson, brother of legendary guitarist Slash, slammed Guns N' Roses fans, as well as the band's frontman Axl Rose in a lengthy online post and now Hudson has returned to his Facebook to issue an apology.

"I apologize to Axl and his legions of fans who were offended by my post of yesterday," Hudson wrote in regards to negative comments he made about the idea of a GNR reunion.

"I am sorry I shot my mouth off. I know, or should know, better than to get involved in GN'R business."

Hudson hinted that Slash got wind of the post and was upset by his comments when he wrote, "Unfortunately, my post was very offensive and upsetting to my brother, for which I apologize."

He also apologised for targeting Rose's weight in his previous online post, where he slammed the singer as a "fat bastard" and later referred to him as "fat Elvis".

"It has come to me [sic] attention that Axl is on a strict diet and losing weight," Hudson wrote.

While his account is private an Instagram account (via Loudwire) managed to capture a screen grab of the post.

#ashhudson #slash #axlrose #gunsnroses #gunsnrosesfans #gunsnrosesreunion #duffmckagan #stevenadler #gnr #izzystradlin #mattsorum #gilbyclarke #saulhudson #slashthemermaid #thehudsons #hardrock

Meanwhile, the possibility of a Guns N' Roses reunion remains unclear though the band's long term member and keyboardist Dizzy Reed admitted in a recent interview that he has considered it.

"Sure, you wonder those things," Reed said.

"Whatever. Whatever happens, happens."

The news also comes just days after Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst said that a reunion tour will be happening and soon, after his claims that a meeting his band had with Slash and Rose was the catalyst for the two musicians putting a near 20-year feud behind them.
