The Sixes Have It

They're one of the most popular bands in their Kiwi homeland right now, and Six60 are ready to once again show Australia what they have to offer.

More Six60 More Six60

Dunedin's Six60 have only been a band since 2008, when they formed rather organically at university, but the past couple of years have been absolutely crazy for these guys with huge success in their home country which is definitely beginning to translate over here as well. Following on in the tradition of soul, rock and bass heavy electronica that has soundtracked the lives of so many Kiwis on the South Island over the past decade or so, it became obvious very quickly that the band have a pretty good knack for it and after releasing their debut album in October last year, they've risen to become one of New Zealand's favourite bands. Their last tour here saw them sell out a bunch of shows, so they're opting for bigger rooms on their return this month, dropping by the Coolangatta Hotel on Thursday 19 April (with Kobra Ka), Brisbane's The Hi-Fi on Friday 20 (with The Mank), Sydney's The Metro Saturday 21 and Melbourne's The Hi-Fi Friday 27 (both with Saskwatch) and finally Perth's The Capitol (with The Rooster Police) Saturday 28. Tickets are available right now!
