Shannon Noll was revealed as the Blowfly when he was eliminated from Ten Network’s The Masked Singer Australia last night (August 22).

Although Noll gave a stellar performance of You Give Love A Bad Name by Bon Jovi but it wasn’t enough to save him, as he was soon asked to ‘take it off’ for the big reveal.

Following the broadcast, Noll released his new single, Take Me Away

He recently played at the Big Country Festival in Berry and the Beers & Boots Festival in Camden to audiences of over 10,000 adoring fans. And he’ll be playing to more massive crowds in the coming months at events such as Savannah In The Round, Deni Ute Muster, Oktoberfest (Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne), Moe Racing carnival and Wollongong’s New Year’s Eve Festival.

During lockdown, Noll moved to the Northern Rivers region and bought himself a 100-acre farm. He also co-founded and launched Bait Bomb By Nollsie, a new Australian made fishing product for catching yabbies, crays and lobsters.

Noll’s everyman appeal lies in his honesty, he strikes a chord with legions of music fans, tapping into a pure emotion that’s both his own and instantly relatable. In 2020, Noll also scored his first #1 on the Australian Country charts when he featured on Find Our Way with girl-band Southbound xo. He also teamed up with four-piece Melbourne band, Darlinghurst on You Stopped Making Sense in 2021.
