This Was Tomorrow is out in September through Sentry's own label.
He took his time, but we're finally able to hear how Melbourne MC Seth Sentry goes when it comes to putting together a full album, with his debut LP This Was Tomorrow all set for a Friday 14 September release. His people are telling us that it's ground breaking and that's it's a masterpiece; of course we're going to wait until we hear it before we make judgements like that, but we are certainly excited to hear it.
With the album of course comes a tour and Sentry is going to be going pretty hard at it from the moment the record is released through to mid-November on this particular run of shows and we bet that the summer season is going to have even more in store for him when it rolls around.
Sentry has decided to take the independent route with his record, releasing the album on his own label High Score Records and having it distributed through Inertia. This will be the first release for the label but we wait and see whether there will be further releases from other artists pushed out through High Score in the future.
But for now the focus is on the album and its accompanying tour, the dates for which are below. Tickets are on sale from Thursday 2 August.
