More Rise Against More Rise Against

Chicago-bred punk icons Rise Against have been releasing information regarding their impending seventh studio full-length in drabs and drabs recently, but they took a leap in the direction of the album feeling more like reality with the announcement of its title and release date in a video posted to their website (and Facebook) this morning.

The minute-long album trailer reveals that the record will be called The Black Market, and will be available for purchase on July 15. Though the band intimated last week that it would drop in July, this is the first confirmation of a concrete date that we've seen.

The album will be released via Interscope, with first single I Don't Want To Be Here Anymore due to drop in five days' time, on June 10. The Black Market marks Rise Against's first album since Endgame back in 2011, and from the sounds of the video, has been quite the labour of love in its making.

"When you've got all of your hard work just kind of come to some sort of fruition and you cross the finish line and you have the finished product, which is like our seventh record, you know - so we've been doing this a while now, and it's a good feeling. It's been a good break, and now we're ready to get back in the saddle," frontman Tim McIlrath says in the clip.
