Renowned Queen And David Bowie Producer Passes Away

David Richards was 57

Well-known and acclaimed music producer David Richards has passed away at age 57.

As reported by NME, Richards died this past Friday after a long battle with an unnamed illness.

Richards is perhaps best known for his production on Queen's last four albums, A Kind Of Magic, The Miracle, Innuendo and Made In Heaven and his work with David Bowie on his records Never Let Me Down, The Buddha Of Suburbia and Outside.

A tribute has been posted on the Queen website along with a message from English trio and recent Aus visitors The Cribs, who worked with Richards last year on their LP In The Belly of The Brazen Bull.
