The third annual Surfers Paradise LIVE event hits the beach from tomorrow afternoon
Music fans on the Gold Coast are probably aware that tonight marks the third annual Gold Coast Music Awards, but the weekend's revelry doesn't end there — the Surfers Paradise Alliance has lined up three days of awesome entertainment with this year's Surfers Paradise LIVE festival.
Kicking off tomorrow afternoon from 4pm, Surfers Paradise LIVE will welcome a range of established and emergent national and local acts, from headliners such as The Veronicas — who were announced as part of the initial unveiling late last year — as well as Mental As Anything and Eskimo Joe, plus drawcards including Taxiride, Pseudo Echo, Tigertown, Ella Fence, Leopold's Treat, Hot Potato Band, Felicity Lawless, Aquila Young and more.
Alongside the the main stages, there will be a wealth of in-venue entertainment throughout the precinct, plus copious amounts of food and beverages, market stalls, autograph sessions, and Surfers Paradise's full spread of attractions that have helped it earn its mantle as the coast's "sixth theme park", including event sponsor Timezone.
The Surfers Paradise LIVE festival runs until Sunday 30 April and, with Monday being a public holiday, you have the perfect excuse to enjoy yourself (responsibly) right through to the finish line.
