"This event is a way of giving back and supporting the live music scene."
A new series of live performance and interview sessions are set to hit Brisbane's Prince Consort from this weekend, featuring some of the most acclaimed musicians from all over Queensland.
The Prince Consort Garden Showcases will take place over three weekends, with live music, interviews and more - hosted by local industry legend and writer extraordinaire Sean Sennet.
The free event series will delve deep into the minds and creative processes of artists including Tyrone Noonan (of George fame and his own prolific solo output), Chloe Mae, Lee Griffin, Pete Cullen, Adele Pickvance and many more.
"Musicians have been hit hard the last 18 months and this event is a way of giving back and supporting the live music scene while showcasing the amazing talent that is in our own backyard," a statement from organisers read.
Other artists set to take part include Jamie-Lee Dimes, JVMIE, The Trams, David Schaak, Lontano, Deb Suckling and more to be announced.
