Check out the midweek figures.

Aussie music icon Paul Kelly is looking to hit #1 on this week’s ARIA Albums chart with his latest Songs From The South compilation.

If the new album, which features some of the singer-songwriter’s best songs from 1985–2019, claims the top place, it’ll be his third-consecutive #1 LP, with 2017’s Life Is Fine and 2018’s Nature both topping the chart upon release.

The midweek figures arrive as Kelly prepares to embark on another massive Making Gravy tour and ahead of his appearance on The Green Room podcast this week.

The only other album that might block Kelly’s hat trick is Celine Dion’s Courage, which is expected to debut in the top three.

Other expected debuts this week will come from Lady Antebellum’s Ocean (top five), Tory Lanez’s Chixtape 5 (top 15), the Frozen 2 soundtrack (top 20), Milky Chance’s Mind The Moon (top 40), Lil Peep’s Everybody's Everything (top 40) and Winston Surfshirt’s Apple Crumble (top 50).

Over on the Singles chart, it looks like Tones & I’s record-breaking streak at #1 with Dance Monkey might be coming to an end, with Billie Eilish’s Everything I Wanted expected to enter the top three and potentially dethroning the single just one week after it rewrote ARIA chart history.
