Parkway Drive Enter At #1 On US Hard Rock Albums Chart With 'Ire'

Metalcore outfit Parkway Drive have continued on with the huge success of their fifth studio album Ire, nabbing the #1 spot on the US Billboard Charts for Hard Rock Albums this week, as well as breaking the top five on the Rock Albums chart, coming in at #4.

Not only did the Byron Bay band score two top-five positions in the US this week, alongside the #1 spot on the ARIA Album Charts last week (notching a career-first for an album debut), but they have also made an impact on the wider Billboard 200 albums chart, on which they've stepped out inside the top 30 at #29. 

Proving they are rising up the ranks on the global market, the news comes just a week after they landed the #3 position on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart. 

The quintet will continue their national tour tonight in Sydney, where they will perform at the Hordern Pavilion followed by a show in Newcastle on Sunday night.
