Global Dance Brand Pacha To Launch In Sydney

Pacha is set to make its Sydney debut this summer with the global dance brand taking over Saturday nights at the ivy from 24 November.

From its beginnings in Ibiza, Pacha has provided a combination of professional dancers, aerialists, street performers and psychedelic projections and lighting. That set up will engulf ivy's rooftop pool bar, Pool Club, Changeroom and open-air courtyard in a huge logistical commitment.

Pacha has previously featured in Australia as part of branded New Year's Eve events.

Helming this landmark event is creative director Ignatius Jones, who has previously worked as Creative Director on the Sydney and Vancouver Winter Olympics opening ceremonies, Vivid Sydney Festival and Artistic Director of Sydney Mardi Gras. Joining him as Co-Creative Director is theatrical director and producer Craig Ilott, whose credits include Smoke & Mirrors, La Clique Royale and Hedwig & The Angry Inch.
