Mammoth Agency is now the property of Uncle Sam

Wide-ranging Australian merchandising company the Mammoth Agency has been acquired by US entity The Araca Group, it has been announced.

As a result of the deal, Mammoth Agency — which encompasses stalwart individual arms Mammoth Merchandise, Mammoth Stores, Street Ninja and Band Of Villains — will henceforth trade as Araca Australia Pty Ltd, while its client prospects will balloon with the added support of The Araca Group, which already cares for massive properties including musicals such as WickedThe Book Of Mormon and Chicago, as well as artists such as Linkin Park and Britney Spears.

Speaking of the acquisition in a statement, Mammoth Agency owner and managing director Rowena Crittle says the new chapter is a natural next step in the continued current and future growth for the company.

"Araca's mission as brand innovators perfectly aligned to my own company's ethos," Crittle said. "We strive to engage our client's fans by delivering top-quality products across varied and unique distribution channels on a global scale.
