Tour to support Government youth initiative The Line.

More Stonefield More Stonefield

Label mates Owl Eyes and Stonefield will head out on a co-headline tour this August to promote and support the Federal Government's The Line initiative.

Brooke Addamo - aka Owl Eyes - and the four Findlay sisters that make up Stonefield are the latest musical ambassadors to the initiative, which promotes respectful relationships amongst youths.

“I feel like out in the regional places they don't  always get a lot of live music or get an opportunity to get out to a lot of venues or anything like that so it will be nice to take our music and The Line's message there and spread it around a bit. It will be quite special," said Addamo.

"When it comes to relationships, you have to have respect. It's about knowing where to draw the line, making that clear difference between what's ok and what's not. It's about respecting yourself and others.”

Amy Findlay added, "Playing in a country town makes a big impact it seems like everyone knows What it is going on and they are so appreciative of it. So I feel like the message will make a big impact.

"It's great to use music to help convey a message – especially a message about respect and just making people aware of it.  One of the things I love about music is that you can help people and teach people about things.”

It will be the first time that the acts, both on Wunderkind, have toured together. Owl Eyes recently released her new single Crystalised, while Stonefield released their EP Bad Reality.

Tour dates are below. Note, the Bendigo show on Friday 3 August is under 18 only. And on Thursday 16 August in Perth Owl Eyes will play the Art Gallery Of WA, while Stonefield will play the Newport Hotel.
