The day we have waited for for years (literally) is finally here - Ned Flanders-themed metal band Okilly Dokilly have announced a debut tour of Australia set for next year. 

The Phoenix-formed outfit are set to hit the country next February and will play shows in Brisbane, Canberra, Newcastle, Sydney and Melbourne with special guests and Australia's own The Simpsons-themed outfit, Dr Colossus.


"Myself and the other Neds are very excited to be playing in Australia for the first time," Okilly Dokilly's Head Ned said.

"We're extra excited to be playing these shows with the Simpsons-themed doom metal band, Dr Colossus. They popped up on our radar very early on and we can't think of a better band on the planet to play with.


"I think these shows are going to be a ton of fun. I'm also told that Australian circle pits swirl clockwise, so we're excited to see that."

The self-described "world's only NEDAL band" will make the trip to Australia in support of their March-released second album, Howdilly Twodilly.
