Renowned Norway-bred, US-based vocalist, lyricist and multi-instrumentalist Sondre Lerche has announced that he will make his inaugural voyage to Australia at the end of next month for a pair of intimate shows in support of most recent full-length Please.

The classical guitarist-turned-pop juggernaut will hit Sydney's Newtown Social Club on Wednesday, November 25, and Melbourne's Northcote Social Club the following evening, with tickets available to both shows now via Handsome Tours.

Lerche has lived quite the colourful career in a relatively short time, having toured with personal heroes A-Ha and Elvis Costello along the way to his current position as a successful Stateside touring musician, as well as having collaborated with Spoon member Jim Eno, composed the score for feature-length flick Dan In Real Life, starring Steve Carrell, as well as for Sundance hit (and then-wife Mona Fastvold's directorial debut) The Sleepwalker.

Check out his track Bad Law, taken from Please, below, to get across the man's distinct pop stylings.
