Nick Cave Confirms New Album 'Carnage' Is On The Way

Nick Cave has confirmed a brand new album is on the way. 

The legendary songwriter revealed the news on his The Red Right Hand Files this week after teasing the record last month.

Cave also confirmed that the he worked on the upcoming album with collaborator Warren Ellis.

"Anyway, as promised in my last issue, I did go into the studio — with Warren — to make a record," Cave wrote.

"It’s called CARNAGE."

It's assumed the album, which has no release date as yet, will be Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' follow-up to 2019's Ghosteen.

The album received critical acclaim and chart success, landing at #2 on the ARIA Albums Chart here in Australia. Ghosteen was also nominated for the ARIA Award for Best Independent Release and Best Adult Contemporary Album.
