New electro-music mecca Babylon Festival was only announced this past November but organisers have today announced that the NSW leg has been postponed.
Organisers have said in a statement that the postponement relates to "legal proceedings between the owners of the New South Wales site and a third party regarding the availability of the site on the contracted festival dates".
The Victorian leg is still to go ahead as scheduled.
"… Without sufficient time to find an alternate site, we have no choice but to postpone the 2017 NSW event," the statement reads.

"This has by no means anything to do with artists, permits or ticket sales. Due to these proceedings we can make no further comment at this time."
All current ticket holders will be refunded automatically in full, however discounted tickets are being offered to NSW punters wishing to attend the Victorian event.
Organisers have also announced plans to host a series of FallOut! shows across NSW which will feature a number of the Babylon acts on the same weekend.
"We know you’re upset, we share your disappointment," the statement continues.
"We have obviously been working very hard to make both of these events a great experience for everyone. We are determined to make a difference and place our own mark to the camping experience in Australia with Babylon."
