Rising folk artist Ned Baulderstone has just been announced as this June’s Future Sounds resident.

Future Sounds is a residency presented in collaboration with General Admission Entertainment and UniBar ADL, with support from the government of Australia. It’s a program that will see three emerging artists selected for a month-long residency at the beloved UniBar. Baulderstone is following in the footsteps of Adelaide-based neo-soul supergroup King of Spain, who were May’s exciting pick for the residency.

The residency will take place every Thursday night at the UniBar.

Based in Tarntanya / Adelaide, Ned Baulderstone is renowned for his heartfelt storytelling and acoustic-driven sound. Baulderstone’s musical journey has seen him front standout tribute shows at the Adelaide Fringe, tour all across Australia and Europe with psych-rock band Druid Fluids, and release a well-received debut EP with his own rock band, Pink Duke. His debut solo record, Gliding Through, came out last April.

His music blends elements of folk, alt-country, and rock - perfect cozy sounds to usher in the Aussie winter.

Future Sounds will see him perform with a range of interstate and local artists, all perfectly curated to complement his warm sound. All shows are free to attend.
