Harley Evans has had offer accepted
News Ltd have accepted an offer for ticketing company Moshtix from current CEO Harley Evans, who will acquire the company from Sunday 30 June.
Evans confirmed the purchase to theMusic.com.au this afternoon but was unable to comment further. Staff and clients have been notified of the news today and have been told that business will largely continue as normal. It is unknown if there will be any staff restructuring due to the acquisition.
As part of the deal News Ltd has agreed to offer a “range of transitional” services while it is understoof sister company Foxtix, which launched in 2010, will be wound down.
One of Australia's leading ticketing companies, Moshtix was founded in 2003 and services some of the country's most renowned venues and events, including Splendour In The Grass.

Last year Evans replaced Adam McArthur as the Chief Executive of News Ticketing. He has previously worked at the Dainty Group, Ticketek and the Fulham Football Club.
