Brisbane's Millions Sign To Stop Start

The four-piece will release a new EP in June, and tour in July

Brisbane's Millions have signed to Stop Start it was announced today, with the indie label - who've distribution through EMI - set to release their debut EP Nine Lives, Six Degrees Friday 22 June.

The band have been around for less than 18 months but in that time they've been Unearthed by triple j, played Splendour In The Grass, Big Day Out and enjoyed a number of support slots. The band have been riding on the back of three singles, Those Girls, Guru and Slow Burner, all of which will appear on their upcoming EP.

Today Stop Start's head Andy Bryan said, "It's really exciting to be working with Millions and I couldn't be happier that they are joining our local roster. I love the songs they've delivered thus far, this debut EP is just a taste of what is to come. There is an aesthetic and energy about the music and it just feels like they are a band of the future both in Australia and overseas.”

Step-Panther will provide support for all dates except Gold Coast.
