Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens will be lit up by the wonderful sounds of three concerts next year as part of A Weekend In The Gardens, a new concert series featuring gigs by John Farnham, Boy & Bear and Icehouse.

The idyllic surrounds and summer nights will see Farnesy open the three days of music alongside Daryl Braithwaite and Ross Wilson on Friday, 10 March (Long Weekend). Boy & Bear, San Cisco and Amy Shark will take the reins on Saturday, with Icehouse, James Reyne and Clare Bowditch wrapping up proceedings on Sunday, 12 March.

Roundhouse Entertainment's director Michael Newton says, "Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens is world renowned and we are thrilled to produce what we hope will be some very special concerts for the inaugural event in March and beyond."

A Weekend In The Gardens has enlisted the Gardens' beloved Jardin Tan restaurant to provide a VIP Canape package, while The Eatery will be chock-full of food and drinks from Ladro, Burn City Smokers, The Royale Brothers and Pommery Champagne & Oyster Bar.
