“I have loved every second of making this globe-spanning comedy love child."

If you need a good laugh, listen no further than Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s latest project, Plot Twist.

Hosting by local comedian Nikki Britton, the new podcast features short stories from a star-studded line-up of comedic talent from across the globe.

The release, which boasts Maria Bamford, Frank Woodley, Phil Wang, Denise Scott, Cal Wilson, Eddie Perfect, Ahir Shah, Claire Hooper and more, has been described as “comedy chain letter meets narrative relay”.

Its description reads: “Each story has been created by a team of five comedians who were given a strict two hours to write their chapter. What could possibly go wrong?”

“I have loved every second of making this globe-spanning comedy love child,” Britton said.

Melbourne International Comedy Festival Director Susan Provan added: “The best laugh-out-loud moments come from ridiculous surprises and Plot Twist is full of them. Delivered by thirty of the very best, this series is a joy!”
