Melbourne-Based Singer Joshua Batten Is Releasing His Debut Album 'Searching For Answers'

Searching for a great album? Look no more.

Accompanied by his band Batten Down, the very talented Joshua Batten will be launching his debut album Searching For Answers on 6 May at Revolver Upstairs.

Head along and enjoy the elements of folk, prog and funk in Batten's various soundtracks, including the album's first single Homemade Wine, which is a blues-rock anthem about struggling to find loyal friends.

Co-produced by MusicOz award winner Mike Elrington and Sean O'Sullivan, Searching For Answers includes Batten's first recordings with his band members drummer Shane McMahon, bassist Sean Ahrbeck and keyboardist Steven Reinhardt, as well as guest appearances from Melbourne Symphony Orchestra's Sarah Morse and Catfish Voodoo harmonica player Aaron Gillet.
