And other solid efforts from around the country
Australian musos prove time and time again they’re among some of the best in the world, but their humble beginnings stem from a solid fan-base, with many punters today proving they’re just as motivated and passionate.
We’re in the midst of Ausmusic Month and to celebrate #AusMusicTShirtDay today the Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN) have managed to break a record during the Face The Music Conference.
The annual occasion sees fans sport their favourite Aussie music-related tee (worn to death, most likely) and AMIN rallied music lovers together on the steps of the Victorian State Library this morning at 9.25am to set an (unofficial) record of the most Australian music T-shirts to be worn in a single photograph.
"We know how many people attend live music shows regularly but to see so many music fans come together and show their support for such a diverse range of artists on their Ausmusic T-shirts reminds us of how passionate Australians are about music,” said AMIN chair Patrick Donovan.
There was also a performance from Nai Palm of Hiatus Kaiyote after the glorious photo was taken.
