Trivium front man Matt Heafy has revealed in a recent NYC acoustic performance that he is creating a black metal side-project.
In a Q & A section with fans, Heafy elaborated on the new project, stating that he plans to write some material for the musical endeavour entitled, Mrityu.
“It’s not going to play shows, it’s just me on guitar and bass and vocals. If it ever did play live I’d only have Trivium band members play it,” Heafy said.
