Ascendant Sydney-based muso MAPLES has revealed the release details for her forthcoming debut full-length, Two Worlds, alongside the announcement of a launch show in honour of the new work during Australian Music Week.
Acoustic and electronic worlds combine as MAPLES' folk roots shake hands with the electronic world on Two Worlds, the product of travelling through eight different studios in one year, incorporating the acoustic sounds of piano, percussion and guitars, then intertwining them with the digital noises of synths and '80s electronica. The self-produced pop album will be available to buy from Friday 23 October.
In the wake of the release, MAPLES will hold her launch show at Sydney's Newtown Social Club, on 17 November, before going onto a showcase performance at Australian Music Week from 18-22 November.
