A mammoth line up for the burgeoning regional event.
The River Sessions festival that has taken over the regional Queensland town of Mackay for one day in June over the past couple of years has just unleashed a seriously enormous line up of Aussie talent for its 2013 event, with a wide variety of music from some of the country's hottest prospects.
Bliss n Eso, Boy and Bear, Karnivool, Illy, Ball Park Music, Hermitude, Dead Letter Circus, Bob Evans, Snakadaktal, Aston Shuffle, Gold Fields, Spit Syndicate, House Vs Hurricane, Kingswood, Tyler Touché, Good Oak, Reecy Boi
While many of these acts have national tours and new records either already announced or anticipated to be so in the near future, the festival is the first we've heard from indie-folk favourites Boy & Bear for quite some time - though we know they're in the studio at the moment - so it will be interesting to see if this leads to more activity in the live arena from that group.
