Aussie favourites Lime Cordiale have just announced the release of their highly anticipated third album, Enough Of The Sweet Talk.
A week after unveiling a forthcoming Australian tour with Ball Park Music – in which the tour promotion involved a fake beef – the album is set to arrive on Friday, 26 July.
In addition to announcing the new LP, Lime Cordiale have dropped the lively new single, Cold Treatment. The latest track follows the release of previously released singles, The Big Reveal, Ou L'Hypocrite, Pedestal, Imposter Syndrome, Colin, Country Club, and Facts Of Life, all of which are set to appear on Enough Of The Sweet Talk.
Revealing that the new album is about relationships, Lime Cordiale said, “Enough Of The Sweet Talk is structured as though it’s taking us through the course of a relationship in chronological order. The innocent early days, the learning, the love, the doubt, the conflict and the realisation of loss.”
You can check out Cold Treatment below and pre-order/pre-save Enough Of The Sweet Talk here.
Enough Of The Sweet Talk is the follow-up to their 2022 six-track EP with actor/musician Idris Elba, Cordi Elba, and comes after their two albums, 14 Steps To A Better You (July 2020) and Permanent Vacation (October 2017).

Lime Cordiale settled their beef with Ball Park Music by announcing a special joint tour for Australia this October, which now makes sense as the Enough Of The Sweet Talk tour.
On the tour, Lime Cordiale said, “We’ve been spending so much time overseas; it’s so exciting to come home for our biggest shows yet. We’re putting a lot into making the production and stage set super exciting, but as always, we want to make this feel like an intimate 100-capacity party.”
About their fake-enemies-to-tourmates, the band added: “Ball Park Music are debatably the best band in the country. They’ve been an inspiration to us since we first met ten years ago. We can’t believe it’s taken this long to tour together.”
