We know Bag Raiders have recently taken over the US charts with their 2009 classic Shooting Stars thanks to one particular viral meme, but now fellow Aussies King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are getting in on the fun with their latest LP, Flying Microtonal Banana.

The Melbourne psych-rockers' ninth studio album has debuted on a number of Billboard charts, coming in at #1 on the Vinyl Albums chart, #2 on the Heatseeker Albums chart, #3 on the Tastemakers Album Chart, #10 on the Independent Albums chart, #19 on the Alternative Albums chart and #170 on the Top 200 Albums chart.

The record has also found its way into the top 40 of the Rock Albums chart to debut at #32.

Meanwhile, though Bag Raiders' Shooting Stars has dipped slightly in the charts it cracked last week, the Sydney duo's 2010 self-titled debut LP has surged on the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, climbing from #15 to #13.

Elsewhere, fellow Sydney act Starley's global hit Call On Me has continued to carve up the US lists, this time debuting on three more charts; #9 on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart, #10 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and #11 on the Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs chart.

The single has also jumped up one spot on the Top 100 Songs chart this week to place at #71.
