Josh Pyke has today announced he will be going on hiatus at the end of the year after completing a regional tour of Australia.
The ARIA-Award winning artist said in a statement he will be taking a break from music to focus on new projects in 2018.
"The last dozen years or so of touring have been wild and hugely rewarding, and now I'm keen to dig into some other creative projects," Pyke said.
"In the meantime, I can't wait to play for you all for the rest of 2017!"

The Sydney songwriter will wrap up his Best Of tour in August before embarking on the 10 Years Of Memories & Dust regional run in November and December.
Pyke will perform intimate shows in Byron Bay, Port Macquarie, Katoomba, Canberra, Henley Beach, Norwood, Mackay, Garbutt, Cairns, Belgrave, Ballarat and Castlemaine.
