The Sydney indies join Wonderlick
Sydney indie rock band Jinja Safari have joined Wonderlick's management roster, joining artists like Boy & Bear, Grinspoon and Airbourne.
Wonderlick's Gregg Donovan and Stu MacQueen said in a joint statement, “'We here at Wonderlick have been fans of Jinja Safari for a while now. We're excited to be working with them on the next phase of their career, both here in Australia and internationally.”
Jinja Safari, who released their debut album through Island Records last year, were previously handled by Blake Raynor at Hello Pavement.
In a statement the band said, “Management largely goes unnoticed, but it is such a big part of the daily existence of a band. Wonderlick already have such a strong reputation so we are very grateful to be invited into the party.

“With the power of Stu's beard and the intimidating nature of Greg's full sleeves of tattoos, we are confident that we are leaving very little to chance.”
As well as Boy & Bear and Airbourne, who are both currently enjoying overseas success, Wonderlick manager Josh Pyke, Jackson McLaren and The Paper Kites. Wonderlick also have a label arm in partnership with Sony, who they recently signed Holy Holy to.
