Jimmy BarnesFans of Jimmy Barnes and Kirin J Callinan were thrown into a state of rage when US talk show host Jimmy Fallon blasted their single Big Enough earlier this month, but backstage at the ARIA Awards tonight, Barnsey – being the legend he is – has laughed it off.
The song was featured on the show’s Do Not Play segment, where Fallon cringed as Barnes' guest vocals kicked in.
“He’s got two guys dressed as cowboys from Australia, and me with a cowboy hat screaming in the clouds, you can see why he’d be confused,” Barnes joked during an ARIAs press conference.
“I think it was good fun and I think he was taking the piss and having a good time too; it was good,” he added.
“I think [Kirin’s] really incredibly talented, I think he’s a very creative mind and a really fine spirit, so I was happy to do it.”
